(story coming soon)
Portobello is my adorable African Pygmy Hedgehog, whose charming black quad badger pattern completely stole my heart. Her dark quills and soft, light fur reminded me of portobello mushrooms, which is how she got her name. Quite possibly the most spoiled hedgehog on the planet, she often sleeps curled up next to me while I work, quietly inspiring my creativity.
She absolutely loves strawberries, and her favorite toys are baby bath toys and ping pong balls, which she enjoys pushing with her snout and knocking into each other. She even has her own Instagram: @portobello_the_hedgehog ^-^.
I’m absolutely obsessed with hedgehogs and know everything about them, so if you ever want to chat about them, just shoot me a message!
The word aeviternal comes from Classical Latin, derived from aevum (“age” or “everlasting time”) and aeternus (“eternal”). It took on deeper meaning during the Middle Ages, when philosophers used it to describe the nature of angels; beings that exist beyond time but have a beginning. Unlike eternity, which has no beginning or end, aeviternity describes something timeless, with a starting point of creation but no ending.
To me, Aeviternal Designs embodies that idea: the pursuit of work that is meaningful, enduring, and unbound by fleeting trends. While I know not every design is meant to last forever, my goal is always to create something intentional, impactful, and built to resonate beyond the moment.
Yes! I coded and designed this website entirely from start to finish using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. I also created all the graphics, logo, and other content you see throughout the site (except the shop button photos that are from Unsplash).
Many moons ago, this site began as graphite wireframes on sketchbook paper, and after several months of tireless effort and many late-night coding sessions fueled by iced coffee (sometimes lasting until sunrise), it evolved into the website you see today.
Although I love how it is now, I’m not sure I’ll ever stop designing and adding to it. This website is a major passion project for me, and I look forward to creating many more designs to add to it, along with possibly new features in the future. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll even make a blog section. Hopefully, someone wants to read that.
I plan to offer design packages in the future. Once I’ve designed the brochure and finalized the options, the link will be available in the footer of this website.
Project timelines can vary depending on the scope and complexity, but most projects usually take anywhere from a few weeks to a couple of months. I always aim to communicate clearly and deliver quality work within the agreed timeframe.
Balancing projects can definitely be a challenge, but I avoid biting off more than I can chew. I carefully plan and limit the number of projects I work on at one time before accepting new ones. I also use a calendar and to-do list to organize my workload, set clear deadlines and expectations, and communicate as openly as possible.
The short of it is, if I feel like I don’t have enough time or energy to do your project justice, I’ll ask if you’d like to be added to a waitlist or I won’t take it on.
If you have a design idea that isn’t listed, that’s very exciting. I love unique opportunities and would love to hear about it! Please go through my contact form, select “Other,” and fill me in on the details!
To begin a project, I typically require a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total project fee. This confirms your commitment and allows me to schedule and start work.
If you cancel the project after work has begun, I will refund any amount paid beyond the deposit, prorated based on the work completed up to the cancellation date. However, the initial deposit remains non-refundable.
If I need to cancel a project for any reason, you will receive a full refund, including the deposit, although I strive to avoid this situation.
Please note that upon cancellation, I retain the license to all work produced up to that point, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Clear communication is very important to me. If you have any questions or concerns during the process, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
I primarily specialize in graphic design and illustration, creating visuals that effectively communicate your brand and message. I also have experience with video editing, photography, and web design/development, including front-end coding in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—which I offer for select projects.
You can find a detailed list of common services I provide on my contact form. If you don’t see what you’re looking for there, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to discuss your project and see how I can help.
